With the challenge of proximity to the DC area, or limitations due to COVID-19 restrictions, TFE Virtual (Personal) Training is an excellent alternative to traditional personal training. Through web-based delivery platforms, we can connect with you via video conferencing via Zoom, FaceTime or WhatsApp. This allow us to see how you move, and helps you perform your exercises properly, drastically reducing the chance for injury. Exercises do not have to centered on equipment. Just like a face-to-face training session, in virtual training, we use a variety of styles including functional movement, joint-specific corrective exercise, bodyweight circuits, standard free weights, plyometrics and agility work, high intensity interval training, TRX, and kettlebells, depending on your available equipment. This enables you to work-out in your own home with professional supervision.
Each new client will start with an orientation consisting of a multi-faceted TFE Training Analysis. We conduct of a functional mobility analysis to determine if any risk factors are present associated with commencing a fitness regimen. Then if desired, we conduct a body composition analysis (instructing clients how to self-asses weight, body fat percentages, circumference measurements, and BMI). Finally, some clients request a nutrition overview and assessment of current dietary habits.
From there, we will determine the appropriate fitness combination that is right for you. You will be guided even at a distance, to ensure all the right pieces are in place for you to commence your fitness journey with TFE.
